The Beginning

Angelo Mazzone purchases Peggy's Restaurant in Schenectady and Canalside Catering begins

The Glen Sanders Mansion

Angelo purchases and renovates The Glen Sanders Mansion in Schenectady, opening Angelo's Tavolo Restaurant

1989 - 1993

The Team

Mark Delos is hired as Beverage Manager at The Mansion, then promoted to Catering Manager and General Manager


Inn at the Mansion

22-room Inn added to The Glen Sanders Mansion


Hall of Springs

Mazzone Hospitality is named exclusive caterer at The Hall of Springs

1998 - 1999

The Team

Mark Delos is promoted to General Manager, Hall of Springs and Director of Culinary for Mazzone Hospitality. Justine Ochal is hired as a restaurant busser and Sean Willcoxon is hired as a dishwasher at The Mansion

2003 - 2005

The Lodge

Operates The Lodge in Saratoga Springs during race season with Justine Ochal as Manager and Jaime Ortiz as Chef


Angelo's 677 Prime

Opens in Albany


PRIME Business Dining

New PRIME Business Dining division welcomes AYCO and Goldman Sachs as first clients


Saratoga National Golf Club

Takes over food and beverage services at Saratoga National Golf Club


Aperitivo Bistro

Opens in Schenectady


The Recession

After $500,000 in holiday catering is lost, focus shifts to expansion of PRIME Business Dining



Named exclusive caterer at Fasig-Tipton for horse sales as well as off-season special events

PRIME Business Dining Expansion

Price Chopper Headquarters, the GlobalFoundries construction site, NYSUT, and Schenectady International become clients


Hilton Garden Inn

Named exclusive caterer at Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park and opens Angelo’s Prime Gar + Grill opens

PRIME Business Dining Expansion

Regeneron, Prime at the Plaza, Avila Independent Living Center, Beltrone Independent Living Center, and Excelsior College become clients

Owens Corning and Saratoga County of the Aging become clients


The Pandemic

Covid pandemic stops most operations for as long as 18 months. Angelo’s Tavolo and Tala Bistro close

Named exclusive caterer for off-season events in the 1863 Club, exclusive caterer for Mohawk Golf Club, and exclusive beverage caterer at The Wire
